Most Tennesseans agree that our current healthcare system is not efficient.  A streamlined process for eligibility verification, provider payment and record keeping is essential.  Providers should have adequate, timely payments, and the state should reduce the paperwork burden for healthcare providers.

An efficient healthcare system should include modern technology that has the capacity to be updated in a timely fashion.

Efficiency also requires the consideration of preventative treatments that are proven to be cost-effective in the long-term and increasing education about preventative healthcare services available through public health programs.
