Job Protection Bill

Special interest groups across the state and nation are trying to pass a bill that allows city and county governments to set a local minimum wage. If this were to pass, businesses would be driven out of the cities and counties that adopt this measure. It would create havoc in local economies.

House Republicans have proposed legislation that would keep local governments from setting their own minimum wage at a rate higher than the federal rate. Our "Jobs Protection Bill" will prevent this from happening.
