HB 1819 - Motor Vehicles - Permits use of continuously flashing light systems on motorcycles; defines "continuously flashing light system" as a system in which brake lamp pulses rapidly for no more than five seconds when brake is applied, then converts to continuous light like normal brake lamp. - PASSED

HB 2075 - Cheatham County - Removes population exclusion which will result in appointment of county building commissioner by chief executive officer of county with approval by county legislative body in all counties of state. - PASSED

HB 2748 - Insurance, Health, Accident - Authorizes certain multi-employer self-insuring pools for providing health insurance to employers in certain nonprofit business coalitions or associations.

HB 1866 - General Assembly - Allows bill that has 50 signatures from members of house or 17 signatures from members of senate to be heard and voted upon on house or senate floor.

HB 2831 - Firefighters - Authorizes payment of $25,000 from general fund to estate of certain firefighter killed in the line of duty; applies to unpaid volunteer members of municipal or nonprofit fire departments who are registered and recognized by the state fire marshal and who are required to extinguish and control fires or fire-related incidents. - PASSED

HB 2861 - Lottery, Scholarships and Programs - Removes requirement for HOPE scholarship, general assembly merit scholarship, and HOPE access grant that student meet the minimum GPA requirements both overall and in the college core classes and instead requires that students achieve one overall GPA. - PASSED

HJR 990 - Constitutional Amendments - Proposes an amendment to Article XI of the Constitution of the State of Tennessee to define marriage as a contract between one man and one woman. - PASSED
