HB 308- Revises provisions for filling a vacancy on the board of
commissioners of a municipality incorporated under a city manager-commission
charter.
HB 315- Prohibits persons from providing driving duties for
a child care center until the employee has undergone a drug test and
received a negative result for illegal drug use; exceptions to be made for
emergency substitutes, volunteers, and similar limited circumstances deemed
appropriate by the department.
HB 316- Prohibits medical examiner, pathologist, or employee
thereof from allowing unauthorized person to capture images or audio
recordings of autopsy; violation Class A midemeanor punishable by fine only
or, if the examiner, pathologist, or employee receives compensation for
violation, punishable by fine and imprisonment.
HB 727- Requires the TennCare inspector general and the director
of the TBI to report concerning the activities of their agencies to combat
TennCare fraud; authorizes the TBI and office of TennCare inspector general
to investigate allegations of fraud or abuse involving TennCare MCOs.
HB 903- Authorizes distribution by faith-based organizations
voluntary contributions made to utility districts.
HB 1985- Prohibits a director of schools or school board member
from being nominated for or elected to membership on the county legislative
body; does not remove any incumbent from office or abridge the term of any
official prior to the term for which such official was elected.
